Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — New improvements are expected to come to the Peace Village, a former encampment on Industrial Street that will soon provide transitional housing with heat and electricity to unhoused individuals.

“There will be 15 units,” said Nicholas Coulter, chief of development and community engagement at Person Centered Housing Options Inc. (PCHO). “There will be hygiene facilities, which have bathrooms and showers. There will be a community space and a staff office for us to work onsite, along with our partners.” Learn more
